While the upcoming second season of Syfy’s Channel Zero is gearing up for October, the show has been renewed for a third and fourth season coming in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Bloody-Disgusting has learned that the third season will be titled “Staircases” and the fourth season will be based on “I Found a Hidden Door in My Cellar” Creepypasta, which is featured in the video above.
Casting is already underway for the third season with Brandon Scott (Blair Witch; Guerilla), Holland Roden (Teen Wolf; Bring It On: Fight to the Finish) and Olivia Luccardi (Person to Person; It Follows). Scott will be playing Officer Luke Vancyzk, an eager and jaded cop living in the shadow of his police chief father. Roden will fill the role of Zoe Woods, a “strong female character” type who struggles with mental illness and despises her younger sister. And Luccardi will play Alice, the younger sister and caretaker of Zoe and struggling financially.
For the uninitiated, Channel Zero is a horror anthology series with each season featuring a new story based on Creepypastas, shared online horror stories passed around on forums or via email. The upcoming second season is based on the “No-End House” Creepypasta which tells the story of a young woman named Margot Sleater (Amy Forsyth) who visits this mysterious house that consists of six disturbing rooms that no one ever escapes from, and if they have, they are never heard from again. The first season was entitled “Candle Cover,” which featured a haunting monster made entirely of teeth.
